The
problem:
Production
stoppages, expensive service and repair caused by lime scale
deposits in the hot and cold water system as well as the cooling
towers. Avoiding the use of aggressive
chemical acids and environmental pollution.
The solution:
Cooling
tower: 1" conditioner on the make-up water supply.
Production Treatment with two 1 1/4" units, 7800 litre/h
capacity on each cold water supply inlet and on hot water
circulation. Conditioning of hot water boiler circulation for
production line with a 1 1/2" unit: Capacity: 12,000 litre/h.
The results:
Within
the first 3 months solid disposals were dissolved and removed
form the cooling tower, without use of chemicals! Substantial
amounts of scale and rust were dissolved in the cold and hot
water pipeline system. Some filters had to be cleaned manually.
Today the
system is clean and has proved a constant optimal operation function.

ADDITIONAL
TREATMENT ADVANTAGES AND RESULTS
Previous
pressure loss and possibilities for bacterial growth on lime
scale formations prevented, better heat transfer, less maintenance
as well as less chemicals dosage for the cleaning procedure due
to a 10% reduced water surface tension.
No pressure
loss, power consumption, chemicals, or service required!
The perfect non chemical
treatment to avoid lime scale and corrosion in water systems |
